Changing your guild name or abbreviation

From the Settings tab of the Guild panel, the guildmaster can change the guild's name or abbreviation. The rules:

• Guildmaster only. Other members (even officers) can't change the name or abbreviation — the controls are disabled for them.
• Must be unique. The new name or abbreviation can't already be in use by another guild on the server. Names and abbreviations are compared case-insensitively. If it's taken, the change is rejected and nothing is charged.
• Costs 1,000,000 gold each. A name change costs a million gold; an abbreviation change costs another million (so changing both is 2,000,000). The gold comes from your backpack first, then your bank, and is only spent if the change actually succeeds — if you can't afford it, or the value is taken, you keep your gold.

Pick carefully — it's a real gold sink, not a free toggle.
