Custom systems

Vanilla Ultima Online gives you a world, a combat loop and a skill grid. Lyonspyre layers a dozen bespoke systems on top of that to make the moment-to-moment play feel modern: an auto-bandage that keeps your fingers off the keyboard while you focus on positioning, a multi-bar cooldown HUD with player-authored rules, a quest tracker pinned to the corner of the screen, a leaderboard that ranks you across the shard and rotates titles weekly, a threat table that lets bosses behave like real encounters instead of "attacks the nearest target."

Everything here is purely additive. Nothing on this page changes vanilla T2A behaviour for any system you'd recognise from 1999 — these are conveniences and end-game scaffolding that the original era didn't have.

At a glance

  • Leaderboard

Shard-wide ranks for gold farmed, monsters killed, harvesting, power procs and guild renown. Weekly / season / lifetime buckets. Top-3 lifetime holders wear an overhead title above their name.

  • Trophies

Cosmetic honours your account earns, shown as a stack on your paperdoll. Open the Trophies picker to choose which ones to display. The Founder honour leads the set.

  • Threat Registry

Per-attacker threat accumulator that powers boss encounter AI. Opt-in per creature — vanilla trash mobs still pick the nearest target.

  • Auto-Bandage

A 2-second heartbeat that fires a self-heal whenever you're damaged and carrying bandages. On by default; [autobandage toggles.

  • Auto Stat-Potions

Re-drinks your best Strength/Agility potion when the buff lapses, hands-free. On by default; pauses in PvP; [autostatpot toggles.

  • Dungeon Mount Stash

Auto-dismounts on dungeon entry, remembers what you were riding, puts you back on it when you walk out.

  • Hinder

Archery PvM root/snare: frozen target, scaled to weapon speed, with an immunity window that converts re-hinders into damage bonuses.

  • Cooldown Bar

Stacked WoW-style cooldown bars driven by player-configurable rules. Ships with defaults for hide, stealth, meditate and bandage.

  • Bandage Bar

Cast-bar countdown for the bandage timer. Draggable, persistent position, "Bandage" label and live seconds-remaining.

  • Quest Tracker

Top-right HUD that mirrors your tracked quest's objectives. Updates live as the server pushes snapshots.

  • Equip-in-place double-click

Double-click any weapon, armor or clothing in your pack to equip it instantly. Whatever's in the conflicting slot moves back to your pack. No more drag-and-drop dance to switch loadouts.

  • Profile

Show-off snapshot of your character: creation date, age, lifetime gold earned, monsters killed, players killed. Plus one-click jump back to the Profile tab from anywhere in the Profile panel.

  • Achievements

Long-form "what have I done?" tracker. Categorised, searchable, with per-card first-3 mini-leaderboards and a personal completion timeline. Pays out Achievement Points (AP) — a banked currency for cosmetic unlocks.

  • AP Store

Spend the AP you earn on cosmetic and quality-of-life unlocks. Phase 1a (live 2026-05-26) ships emote-unlock deeds via the [store chat command; in-game panel and the rest of the catalog (mounts, hues, titles, cooldowns) coming in follow-up phases.

  • Emotes & Emote Wheel

34 voiced emotes, fired by command ([cheer) or from a pop-up radial wheel at your cursor — click anywhere in a wedge to play it. Pick your wheel emotes and open key under Options ▸ Emote Wheel.

  • Battle Royale

Queue-and-go PvP arena. [br join, up to 8 players, identical mage loadouts, shrinking storm. Last alive wins. Gear archived + restored — zero risk to your inventory.

  • Boating Arena

Naval PvP. [arena ▸ BOATING. 2–7 boats free-for-all or 2v2 / 3v3 teams, every hull on the SAME random loadout. Ready-up lobby, last hull afloat wins, friendly fire ON in teams, zero risk to your gear.

  • World Map Sharing

Live party and guild positions on the world map. Sharing is on by default for new characters; out-of-range members keep their last-known name instead of "out of range."

  • Grid Loot

Compact tile grid for looting a corpse in one click each. Includes a lower-right block looting toggle (on by default) that stops you accidentally flagging criminal off a blue corpse.

  • Dungeon Depth & Rewards

Deeper dungeon zones drop bonus gold scaled to their danger. Tougher monsters deep in a dungeon pay out far more than trash near the entrance.

  • Group & Shared Rewards

Talent points and resonance XP are shared with the people you fight alongside — no party required. Full credit for real contributors (damage, heals, tanking), a 25% trickle for tag-alongs, nothing for token leechers.

  • Party Panel

50-member roster with role-coloured names, live HP / mana / distance, party-wide DAMAGE and TAKEN meter tabs, a Nearby Guildmates list, and a vote-kick safety net for absent leaders.

  • Damage Tracker

Solo DPS meter for build testing. Auto-detects fights, breaks damage down by source, keeps the last 10 sessions, and A/B compares two side-by-side. Private to you — not a leaderboard.

  • Boss Encounters

Persistent post-fight record of every boss encounter on the shard. Per-participant damage / healing / taken breakdown, kill / wipe / depart outcomes, share-to-party and copy-to-clipboard. Last 200 encounters retained.

  • Instanced Raids

Private, party-only boss encounters with a weekly lockout. Your group gets its own copy — no griefers. Gear is protected (wipe → healer → full-health re-engage), mechanics re-roll every pull, and [bossresults + the Spoils Coffer close the loop.
